Total cost of camp will include tuition ($500-620) and housing ($81-160 if staying on campus), plus your own travel or separate housing arrangements. You can also buy t-shirts ($20 each) and rent a vendor table at the Saturday night expo ($15 each) on the registration form.
Registrations received closer to camp will carry an additional late charge (cutoff date coming soon).
Full camp tuition:
Super Saturday tuition (ALL GENDERS WELCOME):
Register 5 people from your group or school, get the sixth registration free! Applies to full camp or Super Saturday. Email Events@NWMAF.org for instructions and restrictions.
Tuition may be reduced or waived for participants who (a) are attending in order to support a participant with a disability or (b) have signed up for certain volunteer roles (see below).
Like last year, classes for self-defense instructors will be integrated with martial arts and healing arts-focused classes.
Most classes are 90 minutes long, with several offerings during each block of time.
North Central College has made rooms available to us in Res Rec and Ward Hall. Res Rec rooms ($81-111 for 3 nights) are dorm rooms (single or double occupancy) that share a communal bathroom down the hall. Ward Hall is composed of suites where single- or double-occupancy rooms ($90-120 for 3 nights) are arranged around a common space/bathroom(s) (the most common configurations are four double rooms or five single rooms to one suite, usually with two bathrooms—there are other layouts as well).
If you would like a specific roommate, please connect on your own before registering (check out the member directory if you need help!). You will need to request each other as roommates in order for us to place you together. If you do not request a specific roommate OR a single room/suite, you will be randomly placed with another camper(s) in the dorm of your choice.
Housing for Wednesday night will carry an early arrival fee of $40.
NCC will provide each camper with a pillow, bedsheets, blanket, bath towel, hand towel, and washcloth. Bear in mind that these are dorm rooms: many campers choose to bring their own pillows, towels, and extra blankets for maximum comfort.
Due to a large conference arriving Sunday, campers will need to check out of their rooms by 10:00am that day. NCC will provide secure luggage storage in Res Rec until all camp activities are over.
Meals will be served in the Kaufman Dining Center. Full camp tuition includes meals from Thursday breakfast through Sunday breakfast. Super Saturday tuition includes Saturday lunch and dinner.
NCC has taken steps to ensure that meals move smoothly, and does not expect a high level of congestion during mealtimes.
