Don't miss UNITY, this year's camp for martial arts, self-defense and healing arts.

All are welcome!

For over 40 years, NWMAF Camp has created a special training environment for women and girls.  Over the years, we've often had men and boys ask to train with us, too.  That's why we now offer Super Saturday during our NWMAF Camp.

Everyone is welcome to attend Super Saturday! We invite people of all genders 6 & up (including men and boys) to join us for a special day of training. Some classes on Saturday will still be reserved for women-identified only, but 2-3 classes per time slot will be open to all genders.

Super Saturday includes:

  • Martial arts, self defense and healing art classes
  • Two meals – lunch and dinner (all you can eat from the campus cafeteria)
  • Ticket to Annual Martial Arts performance by conference trainers, award recipients, senior practitioners and school demo teams
  • Expo offering a wide array of training aids, practice weapons, clothing and art
  • Social / Dance -  wrap up the day and relax with new and old friends
Youth Program: The youth program is designed to educate and empower children (YMA - 6-12yrs) and teens. All attendees under 18 years  of age must have an adult supervisor throughout their time on campus. If you are  registering a minor, you must indicate who their adult supervisor is on the  registration form.

Martial Arts Performance: People of all genders are welcome to participate along with their school or team mates in demonstrations. Keeping with the spirit of NWMAF’s work to center women, girls, and others who have typically been marginalized due to gender, we expect that demonstrations will be planned by, led, and showcase people from those groups". Family members and friends are invited to attend the performance, a small entry fee will be charged.
